We are currently seeking a full-time

Head of Development and Production (m/f/x)

for our location in Berlin.

Your tasks:

  • Responsibility for the entire development process of new detection methods and sensors, including strategic procurement of required materials and resources.
  • Coordination of interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient workflows.
  • Development and implementation of innovation strategies.
  • Planning, implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructures within the company.
  • Ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Integrating IT solutions into the development processes.
  • Motivating and developing employees in the areas of development and IT.
  • Promoting a cooperative and innovative work culture.
  • Effective planning and realization of development projects.
  • Ensuring that time and budget targets are met.

Your profile:

  • Experience in project development in biochemistry and chemistry.
  • Hands-on experience in functional polymers (formulation and characterization).
  • Extensive knowledge in the implementation of chemical analyses.
  • Experience in supporting activities in research assignments and product tests.
  • Team-oriented work with goal-oriented problem-solving skills.
  • Degree in biotechnology, chemistry, computer science, or equivalent qualification.
  • Several years of experience in leading development projects, ideally in the field of in vitro diagnostics.
  • Sound knowledge in IT engineering and the integration of IT solutions into technical processes.
  • Team-oriented and motivating leadership personality.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Independent, results-oriented work approach.

Accountant and Controller (m/f/x)

Your tasks:

  • Conducting preparatory bookkeeping and accounting
  • Preparation and maintenance of calculations and budget calculations
  • Liquidity planning and cash flow monitoring
  • Supporting funding projects and applying for financing
  • Working closely with the management team on strategic financial planning
  • Planning, setting up and supporting financial accounting and ERP systems

Your profile:

  • Completed studies in business administration, finance or comparable training
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in finance or accounting
  • Proven experience in the preparation of calculations and budgets
  • Knowledge of liquidity planning and cash flow analysis
  • Preferably experience with funding projects and funding applications
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience with Datev
  • Basic knowledge of English
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Fun with numbers and a strong understanding of figures
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks autonomously
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team

  • Working with microsystems technology, laser and spectral components, as well as injection-molded parts
  • Support in setting up the production line, including commissioning assembly stations and quality assurance
  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for complex technical challenges in the field of in vitro diagnostics and chemical sensors

Your profile:

  • Profound knowledge in electronics or mechatronics, especially knowledge in cable assembly (soldering, crimping)
  • Manual skills and distinct technical understanding for e.g. enclosure assembly and processing (drilling, screwing, gluing)
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills
